Originally from Colombia, Maria has lived in Egypt, Spain, the UK, South Florida, and now Orange County, California. Maria trained to play professional soccer from the age of five, but after a career ending soccer injury in 2006, Maria had to reevaluate her life. Inspired by her father’s business success, Maria pursued a career in Business Management and Marketing. Reaching the peak of her corporate career with a private university in London at the age of 24, Maria and her wife decided to fulfill their lifetime dreams of moving to Florida by purchasing a local Minuteman Press in 2014. After successfully growing and selling a business in Florida, Maria and her wife moved to California in an effort to continue to grow The Coaching Network.
As a certified business coach, Maria offers her expertise in business coaching and consulting. As soon as she moved to the U.S., Maria was interested in getting involved with local businesses and the local community. In the process of growing her business Maria got involved with a number of local networking and charitable organizations. She developed a set of tools to help her navigate the world entrepreneurship. Her business continues to be successful to this day and people regularly approach Maria to ask about her success and get her advice.
Having developed a set of tools and techniques over the last 15 years through her career in Marketing and owning her own business, Maria has created a program for other business owners and professionals to take their goals and skills to the next level. She is currently offering individual and group coaching, as well as consultations and courses, and regularly speaks at events in order to reach businesses and professionals in her local Orange County community. In her free time, Maria likes to spend time with her wife and fur babies. There is never a dull moment at Maria’s with her tiny 4 lb chihuahua and five cats. Maria enjoys listening to business audiobooks, watching sci-fi tv shows, and cooking. You can find her every weekend at the park playing basketball while listening to a good audiobook or some relaxing tunes.
